Erin Springer
Hello! I am an instructional and graphic designer living in Overland Park, Kansas. Born and raised in Dallas-Fort Worth, I attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. After training at Arts Magnet, I continued my arts focus at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Media and Computing with an emphasis in Graphic Design, Advertising, and Public Relations.
After graduation, I worked for a television network in Omaha and traveled the U.S. on a tour bus, planning, promoting, and working network events while managing the network’s social media accounts. I quickly found myself back in Texas with sights on fashion retail & merchandising, where I was introduced to Instructional Design, training, and adult learning theory.
Over 14 years into my career, I absolutely love what I do every single day! I have a passion for design, fun facts, and learning new things. I would have never been able to imagine this career in training, but I have learned so much from the experience provided to me and by my mentors along the way.
My life mantra has always been, “Be Happy!” and believe it or not, these were my first words as a child. It’s how I choose to live my life every single day. I put passion into the things I love and design is certainly a major part of that passion. In my spare time I enjoy crafting, cooking, and spending time with my husband and our three children.
My Work
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to lead many projects: from television and entertainment to retail and financial services. Below are a few samples of the work I have produced. In addition, a copy of my most current resume can be found here.
